Clement Zheng is a design technologist. His work investigates computational design, tangible interactions, and making cultures. He is particularly interested in exploring alternative material approaches for designing interactive systems. His research findings are often presented in the form of new tools and approaches for building tangible interactions.

Clement is currently teaching and researching in the Division of Industrial Design at the National University of Singapore. He leads the Interactive Materials Lab and holds a joint appointment with Keio-NUS CUTE Center.
